Using Your Personal Network To Find Work As A Sex Offender

Your personal network is all of the people that you know, and trust, within your life.
Just as an example, your closest friends, and dearest family members, are all a part of your personal network. The same goes for the people you worked with, whom you trust, as well as anyone else who you trust in that manner.
If you are a sex offender, then your personal network may, unfortunately, be smaller than it once was. But, if you have people who love you, and care about you, then you have a personal network.
You can use your personal network to find work that allows you to satisfy the terms of your probation and, in turn, make the money you need to live the life you wish to live.
How Can You Find Work Using Your Personal Network?
The three actions outlined below will, if used, allow you to find work using your personal network.
Some of these actions may be less effective for you than others; for example, speaking with your family may not lead to work, as your family members may be retired.
Even though the above is true, if you reach out to everyone in your personal network, and politely ask for their help, you will be much, much closer to getting the work you need.
Speak With Your Family Members
Your family members may know places that are willing to hire you. Some of your family members may even know people that will hire you, even if they aren’t advertising openings.
The best way you can determine if this is true is by contacting all of your close family members, outlining your situation, and politely asking whether they know of any openings/are aware of any opportunities.
Reach Out To Friends
If your family members are unable to share any opportunities, then you can, and should, reach out to your friends.
Your friends may know of openings that, for whatever reason, you haven’t heard of. Or, your friends may work somewhere that needs employees and, as a result, they can vouch for you.
Contact Previous Employers
The employers you enjoyed working with, and those who enjoyed working with you, can, and often do, serve as a part of your personal network.
If you need a job, you can contact a previous employer and clarify your situation. There is a chance that they have an opening for you. But, if they don’t, they may know someone who does and help you find work with them.
